Technical quality features

The effectiveness of a magnetic-field is determined by the following technical quality features because:

Pulsating electromagnetic signals can only resonate with the body’s own rhythms when these signals possess certain physiological characteristics!

Based on our experience, non-physiological electromagnetic (therapy) signals can lead to a long term negative strain on the organism – particularly in the case of older persons whose organism is often toxically stressed.

Why must electromagnetic signals possess certain physiological characteristics?

Communication in our body takes place below the molecular level with the help of alternating electromagnetic-fields. In biophysics these are known as biophotons whereby in every cell more than 100,000 bits of information per second are exchanged.  Biophotons control the entire cell activities. They are the light in our cells!

The intra and extra cellular transmission of information is carried out through biological resonance effects. From a biophysical point of view, these form the basis of the control of the inner control circuits and the bioenergetic self-regulation of the organism.

Biological resonance effects can only be achieved when the artificially generated electro-magnetic field possesses certain physiological quality features. Amongst these are:

Magnetic-field strength

Based on his scientific work, the American neurophysiologist Prof. Dr. W. Ross Adey showed that:

Electromagnetic signals only have a physiological effect (i.e. stimulation of the  biophoton field with the help of biological resonance effects), when these reach the so-called . “physiological threshold“ of the organism.

Dr. Adey came to this conclusion after conducting a series of experiments. He measured the amount of Ca 2+ flowing into the cells of chickens’ eggs while varying the frequency and intensity of a pulsating magnetic-field (physiological effect).

To his surprise, Dr. Adey make the following discovery :
In order to achieve a measurable physiological effect, a certain minimum strength of the applied magnetic-field was necessary (the threshold of the organism had to be reached). However after exceeding a certain maximum ("ADEY window"), any further increase in  Intensity (amplitude) caused a reduction and finally termination of the effect.

The  “Adey window“ (or also biological window) is the name given to the narrow signal-intensity and frequency band to which the organism responds, however nothing happens outside this band.

(For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned here that in the above diagram only a maximum is shown as an example. However there are certainly further frequencies which cause physiological effects.)

In accordance with the discoveries of Prof. Ross Adey, the magnetic field instruments developed by Dr. Ludwig® work with very weak fields. These are generally referred to as  “soft magnetic fields“. Depending on the type of instrument, the strength of the magnetic field only lies between 0.1 and 60 micro Tesla because:

The principles of homeopathy also apply to soft magnetic fields which DO NOT work on the dose-effect principle according to the motto “a lot helps a lot“ or “strong  pulsating magnetic fields are more helpful !“

Soft magnetic fields and strong magnetic fields work on the basis of completely different  physical principles (see Fig. below).

Devices that work with strong electromagnetic fields are based on the principle of the so-called Lorenz force (A force which works on a mobile charge carrier in a magnetic-field). Amongst other things the following applies to this method: the stronger the magnetic-field, the greater the force (compare with the dose-effect principle).

The AMS instruments DO NOT achieve their effect on the principle of the “LORENTZ FORCE“ but work instead according the principle of  "FARADAY’S LAW OF INDUCTION" (see Fig.).

The effectiveness is only dependent on the enclosed surface and the periodic changes in the  (electro-)magnetic flow – NOT HOWEVER ON THE INTENSITY / STRENGTH of the magnetic-field generated.

In order to give the periodic changes in the electromagnetic flow special significance, the shape and time dependence of the magnetic-field pulses are also very important quality features.

Pulse shape and time dependence of the magnetic-field

There are a number of possible pulse shapes ("saw-tooth", "rectangular", "sinusoidal"), some of which are even protected by patents.

The shape of the signal used in the magnetic-field instruments developed by  Dr. W. LUDWIG® corresponds in its time dependence to the shape of the signal which can be observed when pulses are transferred in the natural nervous system (see. Fig.).

The most significant characteristic of this pulse shape (known in biology as "action potential") is the extremely fast front edge (approx. 1 microsecond) and the slightly slower back edge. As a result of the fast rise, the magnetic field changes extremely quickly which according to the FARADAY LAW OF INDUCTION (see illustration) guarantees a great effect even though only a weak magnetic field is being used.

Pulsating magnetic fields – low and high frequency bands

Our instruments guarantee “broad band“ operation because they work on the basis of weak, fast-changing electromagnetic fields in the low and high frequency bands (depending on the type of instrument and applicator with harmonics up to 10 MHz).

Frequency modulation - optimum frequency program and setting

In conjunction with the three biological standards, the AMS instruments guarantee a highly-complex frequency spectrum. The choice and setting of single-frequency and automatic frequency programs (depending on the type of device with further possibilities of phase, amplitude and frequency modulation, regulation of the magnetic fields strength) guarantee an  optimum treatment concept.

Together with several thousand users, Dr. Ludwig® has empirically developed specific frequency programs for a large number of medical conditions. Of course, in addition to the listed frequency programs, all further (individually tested) single-frequencies can be selected.

Modulation – transmission and storage of exogenous and endogenous bioinformation

Exogenous and endogenous bioinformation can be transmitted and stored by means of the  pulsating magnetic field. The latter serves as transport medium and is modulated (see. Fig. below).

In our large systems, bioresonance therapy and endogenous information therapy as well as appropriate expulsion therapies can also be carried out using a pair of hand electrode ( and/or animal applicators).

In the above illustration, the red line symbolises the correspondingly modulated bioinformation. The pulsating magnetic-field is virtually the transport medium in the organism. The advantage: because the transport signal is electromagnetic, the intracellular space is supplied with appropriate bioinformation by means of a corresponding control signal.

The spectra of the most important  64 trace elements and the so-called solar frequencies are transported in the same way.

Electrical signals (see the conventional "Zapper") only reach restricted parts of the cell inner because the cells, on account of their double-membrane structure, behave like small  "Faraday" cages.

Furthermore, an input beaker /  MEDICUP can be connected for exogenous i information therapy (e.g. transmission of oscillations from homeopathic substances, substrates from the patient’s body, allergens, nosodes, Bach flower remedies, etc.). The carrier frequency selected is modulated with this exogenous bioinformation.

Bioresonance – coupling of endogenous and exogenous bioinformation

Endogenous and exogenous bioinformation are particularly important in the case of: allergies, skin ailments, psychosomatic disturbances, depression, sleeplessness, migraine, neuralgia, rheumatic and joint pains, mycosis, stomach and bowel disturbances, immune system and metabolic disturbances …

This is the reason why various applicators as well as accessories can be connected to the  bipolar input and magnetic output of large and practice systems for the transmission of endogenous and exogenous information.

Avoiding electromagnetic pollution

The direct connection of magnetic-field therapy instruments (including accessories) to the electricity supply mains means electromagnetic pollution of the signal transmission!  This is the reason why the systems – developed by Dr. W. LUDWIG® – are powered by a battery or a high power rechargeable battery depending on the type of instrument. These measures  automatically ensure that during treatment, no additional electromagnetic pollution is generated and transmitted. The same applies to the coupling-in of bioinformation.

The ever-increasing electromagnetic pollution is becoming a special problem!

When using conventional honeycombs and beakers (whether single or bipolar!), the patient is also “treated” with the complete electromagnetic pollution which these honeycombs/beakers are continually picking up from the environment.

We have solved this problem by fitting our large systems with a symmetrical bipolar INPUT  to which the so-called MEDICUP® is connected. This in turn consist of two identical conducting halves which are not joined together (see illustration) but each separately connected to the instrument  / INPUT.

Thanks to the differential amplifier built into the instrument, practically the entire electromagnetic pollution which is picked-up by each half beaker is eliminated (common-mode rejection).

The substrate placed in the MEDICUP® acts as if it were a dielectric between two capacitor plates. Only the substrate oscillations are used to modulate the pulsating magnetic field (compare with radio waves which consists of a carrier frequency which is modulated so that it can transmit speech and pictures).

No electromagnetic pollution  – optimum coupling-in of bioinformation!
